I'm happy to attach the DXF files for this drawing if need be. Hopefully when they release Inkscape 0.48 it will be fixed but until then, I discovered a fix for Inkscape 0.47 to make it work.
Unfortunately in its current version, the DXF file export doesnt work. Unfortunately Google's search results have been declining in quality for a while now and I'm really struggling to find a good answer as to what it is I'm doing wrong. Inkscape is a nice program and free which makes it even better. act in DXF is minimal to none, so it could be an obvious problem but it has me stumped. I'll be the first to admit my knowledge on how splines, curves etc. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to convert SVG to DXF using Inkscape: Launch Inkscape Inkscape User Interface Click File, then click Open, which lets you select the SVG file. Inkscape Imported Qcad Imported Qcad Imported Close-up The outer lines are per the SpurGear generated body with no offset. Keeping in mind that I'm creating the final export sketch from the completed component so I would (probably incorrectly) make the assumption that any actions before creating the final sketch don't effect the end result. This works great for some of the simpler objects made purely within the software, not so much for objects created using the SpurGear generator script in Fusion. In the example below I've created two gears, one within the other, cutting the central gear from the outer shape then offset the inner lines by 0.2mm.
